Japan’s Toray develops Torayca M46X carbon fibre

Toray Industries has introduced Torayca M46X carbon fibre, boasting a 20 per cent strength increase compared to the Torayca MX series, while maintaining a high tensile modulus. Achieving this strength boost without compromising modulus involved nano-level control of graphite crystallite structures, resulting in ultrafine, ultrahigh orientation.
