US specialty materials manufacturer Neenah completes purchase of ITASA

Neenah, a US-based global manufacturer of premium, performance-based papers, and specialty products used in a variety of applications, has completed the previously announced agreement to acquire Global Release Liners, SL, the parent company of Industrias de Transformacion de Andoain, SA (ITASA), from Magnum Capital and other minority shareholders.

DSM completes sale of Resins & Functional Materials businesses

Royal DSM, a Dutch multinational global science-based company in nutrition, health and sustainable living, has announced the completion of the sale of its Resins and Functional Materials (RFM) and associated businesses to Covestro AG for an equity value of €1.6 billion. SK Group-Sinopec JV to start petrochemical production this year

A joint venture between South Korea’s SK Group and China’s Sinopec plans to start producing petrochemicals at its new facilities in Wuhan in 2021 second half. Sinopec-SK Wuhan Petrochemical was set up by SK Global Chemical, a subsidiary of SK Innovation, and Sinopec in 2013. Production is projected to rise by 40 per cent once full capacity is achieved.
