Geosynthetics supplier Huesker sets up Aussie subsidiary

Supplier of geosynthetic solutions, Huesker Group has set up an Australian subsidiary Huesker Australia Pty Ltd following the recent acquisition of NBW Mining (Aust) Pty Ltd and has named Morné Breytenbach as MD. Huesker Australia is expected to enable the group to provide its entire high quality product and solution portfolio to clients in Australasia.

Breytenbach has nearly two decades of development, manufacturing and installation experience in the geosynthetics industry. After his last assignment as area manager - mining at the German headquarters, he and his family recently relocated to Queensland, Australia from where Huesker Australia will be operated.

"With market leading solutions including Huesker's polyester asphalt reinforcement Hatelit C, as well as the coastal protection and dewatering tubes technology SoilTain, the Australian team approaches each challenge in a collaborative manner," Morné Breytenbach said. (AR)
