Austria's Andritz posts record order intake of €7,879.7 mn in FY21

The order intake at Andritz, an Austria-based international technology group, has reached a record level of €7,879.7 million in fiscal 2021 (FY21), an increase of 29 per cent from €6,108.0 million in fiscal 2020. All the four business areas of the company were able to increase their order intake significantly in 2021 as compared to the previous year.

Swiss firm Oerlikon sees rise in orders by 25% in 2021

Oerlikon, a leader in polymer processing and additive manufacturing, has delivered growth in orders and sales, supported by market recovery in Surface Solutions and strong demand in polymer processing solutions. Group order intake increased by 25 per cent to CHF 2,797 million in fiscal 2021, including a 0.6 per cent positive currency impact.

Scott Bader expands Crestabond structural adhesives to North America

Germany’s Kelheim Fibres together with Sumo, a diaper brand, have developed absorbent pad that uses no fossil materials. Sumo is a fitted cloth diaper consisting of a waterproof cover and absorbent inserts. The cover holds the absorbent pad and prevents it from slipping. To further enhance its performance, Sumo has partnered with Kelheim Fibres.
