Trützschler boosts production footprint in China

Trützschler is further expanding its business in China to embrace the dynamic development of China’s nonwovens market. China has always been an important market for the Trützschler Group. It built its first factory in the country in 2001. Back in September 2019, the company formally established the Trützschler Textile Machinery (Jiaxing) Co, Ltd.

Finnish firm Suominen’s net sales climb to €493.3 mn in FY22

Finnish nonwoven fabric manufacturer Suominen reported a 11.3 per cent increase in net sales to €493.3 million in FY22, compared to FY21. Germany’s Emtec to present haptic solution for nonwovens at Index23

Emtec Electronic will be presenting a practical solution for measuring haptic standards for nonwoven products—the Tactile Sensation Analyzer (TSA)—at Index23. US’ Geosynthetics Conference 2023 ends on a successful note

The recently held 2023 US’ Advanced Textiles Association’s (ATA) Geosynthetics conference, co-hosted with the International Erosion Control Association’s (IECA) annual conference and expo, brought together the geotechnical industry as well as the erosion, sediment control, and stormwater industry. Roswell Textiles, alongside its sister company and commercial partner, PADM Medical, has announced the use of its plant-based nonwoven materials, Ecofuse, in Canada’s first plant based, medical grade procedural mask (Viraloc Eco). The Viraloc Eco face mask has a 65 per cent carbon footprint reduction, when compared to a traditional synthetic mask.
