Turkey's export of medical textile goods reached $1.4 billion last year, according to the Aegean Exporters Association (EIB), which recently said the textile products export sector is recovering. Thuasne, a major player in the medical device market in Europe, has taken over the US-based company Knit-Rite, specialised in medical textiles, and its Therafirm division, dedicated to compression.
