Jehong Medical to double its capacity in Bangladesh

Jehong Medical Products (BD) Co Ltd, a China-based company, is setting up a new factory in the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Economic Zone in Chattogram to double its monthly production capacity to around 8 lakh pieces. The new factory will come up on an area of 21,000 sq ft is expected to start operation by the end of next year.

US’ Argonne, 3M create solution for slashing energy costs of N95 masks

The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Argonne National Laboratory has collaborated with multinational tech company 3M to develop a technique to drastically reduce the amount of energy required for melt blowing the materials needed in N95 masks and other applications.
