Ontex has announced that manufacturing at its plant in Mayen, Germany will be phased out by mid-2022. Mayen will become an excellence centre for global process engineering, global product technology and market adaptation baby care, and will bring innovations faster to the consumers. The Global Excellence Centre will be operational as of January 2022.

India’s SVP Global Ventures to invest ₹100 cr in new tech textile unit

SVP Global Ventures Ltd, India's largest compact cotton yarn manufacturer, is foraying into technical textiles. The company is investing around ₹100 crore in setting up a 4,375 MT per annum green-field facility for technical textiles at Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
