Protective Packaging Corporation, manufacturer of barrier bags used for shipping and storage, has bagged the 2014 Boeing Performance Excellence Award (BPEA), issued by the Boeing Company.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Protective Packaging Corporation maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12 month performance period, from October 1, 2013, to September 30, 2014, Protective Packaging said in a statement.

Protective Packaging CEO, Steve Hanna said, “This is our fifth consecutive year to receive this distinction; it is a testament to our outstanding customer service and product quality.”

“We are honoured to be recognized by Boeing as a strategic partner, and we are proud to provide them with quality products to protect and preserve their equipment,” Hanna added.

With over 21,000 global suppliers, Boeing recognized 548 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Protective Packaging Corporation is one of only 429 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.
