High-Tex from Germany’ exhibition at Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas showcased innovation in textiles. At the recently concluded three-day programme, 66 companies presented latest technological trends in technical textiles, nonwovens, textile-processing machines, smart textiles and textile-research projects to the visitors.

Techtextil 2019, the international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, which will be held from May 14 to 17, 2019, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, has recorded a significant rise in exhibitors and visitors this year. The number of registrations is already quite higher than the figure for a comparable stage in the run-up to the last show.

With Chinese buyers still considering European suppliers the leaders in technology and innovation, exhibitors from eight European countries have already confirmed to participate in the Cinte Techtextil China’s European Zone. The fair, to be held in Shanghai during September 4-6, is expected to have more than 500 exhibitors from around the world.

SPESA (Sewn Products Equipment and Suppliers of the Americas), American trade association working for suppliers of machinery and technology of sewn products, and Messe Frankfurt, Inc., have signed agreement to extend the contract to co-produce Texprocess Americas through 2032. Messe Frankfurt is a leading trade fair, congress, and event organiser.

The show attracted some 175 exhibitors from 11 countries including national pavilions from Germany and the People Republic of China, and 5,436 visitors from 38 countries.
