Japanese firm Teijin joins Spirit's Aerospace Innovation Centre

Teijin Limited, a Japanese company engaged in aramid, carbon fibre and composite moulding material, has announced that it has joined the Aerospace Innovation Centre (AIC) organised by Spirit AeroSystems, one of the world's leading manufacturers of aircraft structural components. Teijin will work directly alongside Spirit and other members of the AIC.

US’ REXtac, South Korea’s DL Chemical setting up APAO plant

Texas-based REXtac, and DL Chemical of Seoul are together setting up an Amorphous Poly Alpha Olefin manufacturing plant in South Korea, with an investment of $134 million. The APAO hot melt polymer and adhesive is widely used in a variety of areas, including hygiene products, HVAC filters, automotive interiors, and other industrial applications.

PFNonwovens to invest R600 million for expansion in South Africa
