Finnish firm Valmet posts 17% growth in orders received in Q1 FY23

Finnish company Valmet reported a 17 per cent YoY increase in orders received to €1,552 million in Q1 FY23, with net sales increasing by 38 per cent YoY to €1,321 million. The order backlog at the end of the reporting period amounted to €4,595 million. The company estimates net sales and comparable EBITA to increase in FY23 compared to FY22.

Andritz gets order for 2 hygiene converting lines from Turkiye’s Predo

Andritz has received an order from Predo Health Products to deliver two high-speed hygiene converting lines for producing adult open diapers and feminine sanitary napkins. The lines will be installed in Predo's factory in Gaziantep and start-up is scheduled for the first half of 2024. Predo already operates four baby diaper lines from Andritz.
