US’ Peak Rock completes acquisition of The Tranzonic Companies

An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital, Peak Rock, a leading middle-market private investment firm, has announced that it has completed an acquisition of The Tranzonic Companies. Tranzonic is a US-based, leading distributor of cleaning and hygiene products serving customers in a diverse set of end markets, including healthcare, and facility services.

US’ INDA selects Ryan Ragan as director of membership & industry

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has named operations and development officer Ryan Ragan as its new director of membership and industry relations to retain and grow memberships and enhance member values. He brings 20 years of experience from various bio-medical and healthcare organisations, and has also worked for the ACHC.

US’ InventHelp develops PPE mask that covers entire head

Invention company InventHelp, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, the US, has created a PPE mask that offers coverage for the entire head. Along with added protection, the new PPE mask also ensures that the user has a fresh filtered air supply. The mask is expected to be suitable for those individuals who wear PPE face masks for longer durations.

Swiss firm Gurit posts sales of CHF 234.8 mn in H1 FY22

Net sales of Gurit, specialising in advanced composites, in the first half (H1) of fiscal 2022 were CHF 234.8 million, a decline of -7.0 per cent at constant exchange rates or -9.2 per cent in reported CHF versus prior year. For continued operations, the decline was -5.7 per cent at constant exchange rates in the first half of fiscal 2022.

Germany’s Evonik’s sales rise 31% in Q2FY22

Evonik closed the second quarter of fiscal 2022 with strong results as sales increased 31 per cent year-on-year to €4,772 million due to higher selling prices and positive currency effects, despite slightly lower volumes. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (adjusted EBITDA) increased by 12 per cent to €728 million.
