German firm Evonik’s sales at $16.6 bn in FY23

Evonik Industries’ FY23 sales fell 17 per cent to €15.3 billion ($16.6 billion). Adjusted EBITDA hit €1.66 billion. Smart materials division saw a 15 per cent sales drop, with adjusted EBITDA down 27 per cent to €540 million. Performance materials sales decreased 22 per cent, while the adjusted EBITDA plummeted 68 per cent to €111 million.
