Inspired by the human ear, a new acoustic fabric converts audible sounds into electrical signals.

AstenJohnson, a textile manufacturer headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, with roots dating back to 1790, has selected Waco, Texas as the location for its eighth North American location. The company will invest over the next two years to build the 220,000 square foot facility. Waco and McLennan County provided incentives supporting the project.
