The finalists for the World of Wipes Innovation Award, to be presented at the WOW International Conference, have been announced. The three products competing for the award are a cleaning and disinfecting device by 2XL Corporation, a wipe utilising biotransformation technology by Avgol Nonwovens, and a reusable towel dispensing system by Yowel.

Healthcare company Essity is divesting its operations in Russia, with a deal approved by Russian authorities set to finalise in Q2 2023. The move follows Essity's 2022 decision to exit the Russian market, resulting in an asset impairment of around SEK 1.7 billion. Russian operations constituted around 2 per cent of Essity's total net sales in 2022.
