Germany’s Kelheim Fibres together with Sumo, a diaper brand, have developed absorbent pad that uses no fossil materials. Sumo is a fitted cloth diaper consisting of a waterproof cover and absorbent inserts. The cover holds the absorbent pad and prevents it from slipping. To further enhance its performance, Sumo has partnered with Kelheim Fibres.

Austrian technology group Andritz will supply a new batt forming line for stitchbonding to Romatex, a company that specialises in Maliwatt stitchbonding in Africa.
