Sweden’s Essity recognised for sustainability in CDP’s A List

Swedish hygiene and health company Essity has been recognised for its leadership in sustainability by the global non-profit environmental organisation CDP. The company was awarded a place on CDP’s prestigious A List for its work in combating deforestation. Essity’s products include tissue paper, baby diapers, feminine care, and incontinence products.

France’s RecyOuest starts recycling line for agricultural waste nets

RecyOuest, a French green economy company, has successfully started up world’s first recycling line that produces recycling fibres for nonwoven applications from agricultural plastic waste nets. BIS gives All India First License to 2 firms for protective textiles

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued All India First license to two companies at a recent event. The All India First license was felicitated to Palwal-based SMPP Pvt Ltd for bullet resistant jackets as per IS 17051:2018 and to Faridabad-based Star Safety Hub for protective clothing for industrial workers exposed to heat as per IS 15748:2022.
