Mr. Avinash Mayekar, LTM from VJTI, Mumbai, in 1987, has widely travelled across the globe and gained huge hands on experience on textile industry. He has unique experience of getting trained on most of the technical textile technologies abroad. He has varied experience of almost 23 years in different job profiles at Gherzi, A.T.E. Marketing, Technopak and in Mafatatlal group. He has worked on various assignments most of them were totally different. This was in line with his own choice of implementing innovative skills and doing something different at each and every stage. While promoting nonwovens in India for last more than 12 years he acquired good knowledge in the subject. He also has a good exposure of presenting papers in the National and International seminars and conferences during last 12 years.

He was instrumental in bringing innovative software base concepts in Gherzi and founded “Engineering practice” and Mumbai operations in Technopak.

Presently he is the Managing Director & CEO of consulting firm: Suvin Advisors Pvt. Ltd., a Pavitra Group company, which gives complete turnkey solutions from Marketing consulting to Project Management Consulting.

Publications/ Books/ Papers

There are more than twenty five papers on marketing, nonwovens, technical textiles on his credit. He has also delivered many presentations in many International seminars on innovative marketing techniques and technologies.
