Sarah P. Brady holds a BSc. (2002) in Analytical Science, from Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. During her degree, she conducted a research in the area of conducting carbon black-polymer composites, which lead her to her postgraduate research in the area of conducting polymers, in particular, polypyrrole.

Sarah was awarded a research scholarship from the Irish Research Council of Science, Engineering and Technology in 2002 to pursue her research interests in the National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) in DCU. After completing her Ph. D. in sensor development using conducting polymers, in 2006, she returned to DCU to join the Adaptive Information Cluster (AIC). She is currently working on the European project, Proetex, developing sensors that can be integrated into wearable systems.
