Chomarat, a composites and technical textiles company, took part in Kompozyt trade show, held on October 11-12, 2017 in Crakow, Poland. During a live demo with equipment manufacturer Magnum Venus Products (MVP), Chomarat’s carbon reinforcements were used to build a kayak. It proved that Chomarat reinforcements are effective in closed mould processes.
“The reinforcements are also useful in processes like flex moulding which is developed by MVP. The carbon fabric is easily laid up in a single step with no need to reposition or cut, which is an advantage!” explained Chomarat sales manager Vicent Cholvy at the event.
The Chomarat Group’s distributor Polytor also exhibited Chomarat products, including G-Flow, the structural flow-medium reinforcement developed for the infusion process, and FX, the latest range of adhesive reinforcements that facilitate reinforcement lay-up in the mould. (VM)
