A.Celli starts new tissue machine in Romania

With a production capacity of 34,000 tons per year, the tissue machine has a 2.8 mm web width, a working maximum speed of 1800 m/min and a production capacity of 110 tons per day.

“It is a part of a complete turnkey project that includes all ancillary equipment as well as the latest generation hood design by A.Celli. It was designed to meet all the customer's requests and demands in order to guarantee an enhancement in production level, assured by ideal performance and quality,” the release said.

Reel handling system, a 100 per cent pure cellulose pulp preparation system designed to process both short and long fibres and a slitter/rewinder completes the supply.

After the recent entry of Abris Capital Partners in May 2015, the Romanian group required an increased production capacity in order to confirm itself leader in the manufacture of tissue products in Romania and Southeast Europe. The start-up which was scheduled for the end of 2015 was completed before the holidays and allowed Metalicplas to begin the New Year in the best way possible.
