The Israeli Ministry of Environment has published a report rating the industrial public companies traded on the Tel-Aviv 100 index with regard to their environmental compliance. The environmental report rated the total requirements and standards required by the regulator and their practical implementation by the listed companies.

Avgol is named first of all industrial companies in keeping the environmental rules and regulations stated by the Israeli Ministry of Environment.

The environmental rating provides investors and investment advisors additional meaningful tool in evaluating companies and economic risks to which they are exposed, due to non-compliance with standards and requirements of the regulator on the environment.

As part of its vision of being a market leader and meeting all the stringent international standards, Avgol sees great importance in being a green organization, caring for the environment and ensuring the implementation of all standards and quality requirements demanded by the regulator, within the organization across the company's product lines.

"I am pleased with Avgol's ranking as a high awareness industrial company, highlighting our care for environmental issues and our success in implementing the rules and regulatory guidelines in the best possible way to the satisfaction of its supervisors", said Shlomo Liran, Avgol CEO. "As a global industrial company involved in production of consumer goods for leading brands, we consider ourselves committed to continue and take all steps to meet strict international standards on environmental protection as we see ourselves full partners for this value".
