Celanese Corp hikes global prices of few materials

Specialty materials company Celanese Corporation said it is raising list and off list selling prices for Acetic Acid, Vinyl Acetate Monomor and Acetic Anhydride across the world as of July 1 or as contracts allow.

In a statement, Celanese said it is hiking Acetic Acid price in Europe by €40 per MT and that of Acetic Anhydride by €40 per MT again for Europe.

For Vinyl Acetate Monomor, it is raising prices by $0.03 per lb in US, Canada and Mexico, $70 per MT in Central and South America and $40 per MT in Asia, except China.
