For the sustainable design project, around 35 companies are together contributing US$ 2.7 million in advanced building energy technologies and services.
The advanced technologies will be set up during the “deep energy retrofit” and restoration of the famous 5 Channel Centre in Boston's Innovation District.
Through its Building Technology Showcase project, the CSE will assess the efficiency and dependability of the new technologies incorporated into the 100-year-old building.
It provides a good opportunity for partnering companies to demonstrate the sustainable benefits of their various products.
Cooley's C3 sustainable fabrics prohibit microbial growth and are chemically resistant as well as fire retardant. These fabrics come with a patented aramid reinforced edge and wick-resistant industrial-strength polyester scrim. Moreover, these are completely recyclable into new Cooley C3 roofing products.
