Covestro will show its new polyurethane raw materials for state-of-the-art wound care under the trade name of Baymedix. These include raw materials for wound dressings that assist in the healing process and also offer numerous design options. The company will show new material developments for applications in medical textile coatings, for example in surgical clothing, mattress pads for hospitals, coatings for medical furniture and medical bandages, at the expo. These materials are also suitable for latex-free elastic self-adhesive bandages and secondary fixing.
Covestro is additionally showcasing material solutions with thermoplastic polyurethane films and the high-performance plastic polycarbonate (PC) that fulfil the demands of both medical technology manufacturers and patients. (GK)
