With this collaboration, Fiberpartner aims to offer a quality bio-based alternative to traditional polyester fibres. During the second half of 2023, the company will introduce a diverse range of fibres, including solid and bico-fibres, that can be seamlessly bonded to natural fibres. These products will possess qualities such as softness, touch, elongation, and tenacity like polyester fibres, Fibrepartner said in a LinkedIn post.
Moreover, Fiberpartner’s bio-based plastics will make a significant contribution to reducing the CO2 footprint, enabling a more sustainable future. These materials are not only biodegradable but also home compostable, allowing for a return to nature.
By harvesting nature's own resources and utilising advanced technology, Fiberpartner aims to create strong, durable, and eco-friendly biomaterials, added the release.
