Diamond Wipes receives Forest Stewardship Council certification

Diamond Wipes International announced that it has earned the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certification [FSC-C109834] from the Rainforest Alliance. This certification reflects the growing trend in the paper and printing industry for companies to make more environmentally and socially responsible supply chain decisions.

FSC is a nongovernmental, non-profit organization that promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. The newly awarded certification marks the meaningful and credible beginning of Diamond Wipes commitment to good forestry practices, carried from forest to consumer.

"As a FSC certified manufacturer, we now have the ability to produce our wipes from responsible sources," explains Yen. To become FSC certified, Diamond Wipes had selected the Rainforest Alliance as the certifying body. "We are also equally excited about working with the Rainforest Alliance," said Yen.

The Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal is recognized by 42 percent of Americans and it assures consumers that they are buying a product that has been grown and harvested sustainably.
