EDANA announces final outlook 2012 programme

EDANA, the International Association Serving the Nonwovens and Related Industries, and organiser of the world's annual premier nonwovens and personal care products conference, announced the full programme for OUTLOOK 2012 at the Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, from the 26th to 28th September 2012.

OUTLOOK 2012, now in its 11th year, has gone from strength to strength, attracting 360 participants from 33 countries in 2011. Its success comes as a result of the high level speakers, a diverse and relevant programme, and unparalleled networking opportunities for all companies and professionals active in the personal care products supply chain. The conference attracts upper and middle management from the whole supply chain of the personal care products industry.

The keynote speaker, Mr Vijay Vaitheeswaran, from The Economist will deliver a presentation on “Innovation in the Age of Globalisation”. Mr. Vaitheeswaran's presentation will cover a number of approaches, including turning risk into reward through resilience, and put purpose on par with profits. Mr Vaitheeswaran is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (USA), an advisor on sustainability and innovation to the World Economic Forum, and an adjunct faculty member at NYU's Stern School of Business.

OUTLOOK 2012 offers an outstanding programme with 20 speakers from across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas covering topics such as: Technology and Innovation, Applications and Research, Sectors and Future Growth, Markets, and Regulatory Landscape and Eco/Sustainability.
