"Medical professionals have never had the opportunity to shop for their uniforms like they would regular clothes, despite wearing scrubs more frequently than any other article of clothing they own. We wanted our pop-up shop to feel lively and playful, but also modern. With this space, we're letting our consumer know that they deserve better. They deserve FIGS," says Heather Hasson, co-CEO.
The 1800 square foot space features a fresh design, dynamic video integration and an embroidery workshop as well as Figs' full line of men's and women's scrubs, compression socks, tote bags, loungewear, lab coats and outerwear.
A focal point of this innovative experience is a larger-than-life art installation, The Figs Medicine Cabinet. The piece was specially commissioned for the shop and is perfect for Instagram selfies.
The pop-up shop opening comes on the heels of the launch of FIGS' recent offline marketing campaign, which dominates the NYC and LA areas with billboards, transit station, subway ads and wild postings — also unheard of in the medical apparel space.
"We're experiencing tremendous growth and it's super important to maintain the integrity of our brand. Through experiences like the pop-up and billboard campaigns, we're letting our customers know that we're not slowing down when it comes to reinventing the medical apparel industry and we are going to continue to show up for our community every day," says Jenny Seyfried, VP of Brand.
FIGS will utilise the space for in-person connections, FIGS' speaker series, Sunday Coffee in-store service, an embroidery workshop, special "night shift" shopping hours as well as several events that will continue to set the highest standards in the medical apparel industry. (SV)
