Finland's Valmet appoints Olli Hanninen as senior VP of strategy

Olli Hanninen has been appointed senior vice president of strategy at Valmet, effective October 1, 2024, reporting to CEO Thomas Hinnerskov.
With extensive experience in Kone's services business and as an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, Hanninen will enhance Valmet's executive team.
He will be based at the company's head office in Espoo, Finland.

Olli Hanninen has been appointed as the senior vice president (VP) of strategy at Valmet, effective October 1, 2024. He will report to president and CEO Thomas Hinnerskov and will join Valmet’s executive team.

Hanninen has held various management roles in Kone's services business from 2014 to 2024, culminating as senior vice president of service business. Before Kone, he was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company from 2004 to 2014.

Hänninen will be based at Valmet’s head office in Espoo, Finland, the company said in a press release.
