Composites fabrics producer Hexcel will be showcasing composite materials for automotive, wind energy and recreation markets at Composites Europe to be held in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 29 to December 1, 2016. At the show the company will be promoting multiaxial fabrics, fast curing CFRP products, pultruded profiles and a new film adhesive.
Among various products, Hexcel will show a composite floor demonstrator produced for Jaguar Land Rover using its HiMax carbon fibre multiaxial fabrics specifically optimised for high-volume composites manufacturing processes.Composites fabrics producer Hexcel will be showcasing composite materials for automotive, wind energy and recreation markets at Composites Europe to be held in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 29 to December 1, 2016. Hexcel will also display its line of prepregs for automotive structures including the HexPly M77 prepreg stacks that are used in the BMW 7 Series to save weight and reinforce the metal shell of the B-pillar.
Again for the automotive sector, it will display a suspension knuckle made by St Jean Industries in which the aluminium structure is stiffened with HexPly M77 prepreg stacks. (AR)
