In addition, Italian exports to US market testify the will of American textile customers to invest in updated equipment. In 2011, Italian sales of textile machinery reached a value of about 68 million euro (i.e. 49 million US dollar) with and increase of 84% on 2010.
In 2011 the most relevant share of the Italian machines exported to US market was for accessories (33%), followed by spinning machinery (20%) and finishing one (20%).
