This strengthened collaboration between JEC and EuCIA will bring new services and initiatives to support the composites ecosystem strategically. Both organisations have pledged to work at both the institutional and industry levels. Their focus will be on creating networking opportunities, enhancing market intelligence, and elevating communications to promote the applications of composites across various industries.
Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC Group, expressed his pride in announcing this partnership, emphasising the belief that joint efforts and strategies will not only benefit the European composites industry but also have a global impact. “Collaboration on common efforts and strategies will benefit the composites industry in Europe, and worldwide,” Pierrejean stated.
Roberto Frassine, President of EuCIA, also welcomed the strengthened partnership. He highlighted that this cooperation marks a crucial milestone in promoting EuCIA’s initiatives for sustainable growth within the European composites industry and will facilitate new activities to introduce composite solutions to a broader audience.
One of the first outcomes of this collaboration is the co-production of the 2023 JEC Composites Sustainability Report, set for publication in November. This report, a joint effort with composite associations worldwide, aims to showcase how industries in various regions are working towards reducing their environmental impact.
Furthermore, EuCIA will play a key role in supporting JEC Group with the introduction of new initiatives at JEC World 2024, with more details expected to be announced in December. This partnership signifies a step forward in harnessing the potential of composite materials for a sustainable and innovative future in Europe and beyond.
