JEC World, to be held from March 8-10, 2016, will have 1,300 exhibiting companies, more than 30 technical sales presentations, 11 conferences and the Innovation Awards ceremony. The new venue will enhance the experience of the visitors and the exhibitors owing to its vast space reaching 62,000 sq m and its proximity to the airport, the high-speed train station and the city centre.
“In 2016, we will go further and explore how composites respond to the challenges of this century: energy, sustainability and environment. Therefore, we will exhibit materials, technologies and products that are increasingly energy efficient, resource-saving and reusable,” informs Frederique Mutel, president and CEO of JEC Group.
JEC World will also be changing its format for the event. The exhibition will cover the whole composites value chain from raw materials to intermediates, and above all, end-using industries which are high consumers of composite materials such as aerospace, automotive, energy or sports and leisure.
“Our new format should reward and inspire our ever growing numbers of visitors. JEC World 2016 is to be the place where innovative minds can find even more diverse and often unexpected perspectives on composites and can share their discoveries with others,” Mutel concludes. (MCJ)
