The programme will present workshops for aerospace like boosting AFP material efficiency with fibre patch placement or innovative solid lubricant made from water soluble resin, according to a press release by JEC Group.
On Tuesday March 12, one session of technical conference will be organised which will focus on ‘Aeronautics: technologies for the future legacy programmes’ with speakers from Cetim, Hexcel, Airbus, Chomarat, Mtorres, Plataine, Aerocomposit. The same day six Innovation awards finalists will be announced by Airbus. In the aerospace application category this year, Compo Tech Plus SPOL has been shortlisted for its composite aileron structure cured in one step, Deutsches Zentrum für Luft for primary structure for sounding rockets. In the aerospace process category, Applus+ Laboratories has been shortlisted for its automated manufacturing process and Cecence for its fully compliant 16G composite aero seatback. All the winners will be named on the next day.
In terms of innovation, aerospace professionals will be able to discover more than 40 innovative parts within the aero and space planet, reducing costs and raising production rates with workshops sponsored by Huntsman, Saint Gobain,Toray, Porcher Industries. Professionals will also attend the pitches of the 10 ‘Startup Booster’ finalists selected by Airbus on March 12.
Finally, aerospace professionals can discover some solutions, processes dedicated to their challenges from the 1,300 exhibitors and join the ‘Composites in Action for Aerospace’ as well which will present the most recent scientific and technologic developments in this sector.
