JRC-REFLEX/IBR will be present at Performance Days event in Germany. From performance sportswear to urban mobility markets, the demand for retroreflective fabrics and trimming continues to grow and is shifting from details to all over fabrics, thanks in part to JRC-REFLEX/IBR's wide selection of high-quality retroreflective stretch fabrics that are 140 cm wide.
In addition to high-quality retroreflection and elasticity, the supple large-width fabrics boast soft and smooth hands. Their subtle luminous glow makes them comfortable and easy to wear everyday while offering a higher degree of safety at night or in low light conditions since the retroreflective microspheres cover the entire surface of the fabric. From the soft sheen of silver grey to the mysterious deep black, and including the many colours developed by JRC-REFLEX/IBR, the range caters to all needs, from running to cycling and most outdoor activities. Like the ornamental trimming range developed by company based in Romans, France, the large width fabrics can be perforated or laminated to add other functions, improving ventilation inside the garment, or to experiment with double-layered or decorative effects.
Combining neon tones with retroreflection, JRC-REFLEX/IBR has developed a number of multiple layer fabrics and trimmings. The company's Perforated fabric and trimming range combines an elastic retroreflective silver face fabric with a brightly coloured (or black) elastic knit under-layer. Perforations reveal the underlayer, they measure 1 to 2 mm and can be developed to client's specifications. The Perforated range offers an ideal combination of luminosity, breathability and aesthetics with the subtle neon flash revealed by the micro-perforations.
JRC-REFLEX/IBR has recently added perforations to its ornamental edge trims. A new series of trimming is available with pinked or cranté edges, including classic triangular cranté, round wavy cranté and scalloped edges. Perforations are applied according to client's specifications.
Founded in 1988 and specializing in retroreflective and elastic fabrics and trimming, the Romans, France-based company JRC-REFLEX/IBR has developed an extensive range of high performance fabrics targeting active sports apparel end-uses from first layer to outerwear. The company exports 90% of its products.
