Kelheim Fibres produced its 4,000,000th ton of viscose fibres on April 9, 2018. The company, headquartered in Germany, is a leading producer of viscose specialty fibres. Approximately 90,000 tonnes of viscose fibres are produced and tested every year by the company, and their high quality fibres are exported to around 44 countries in five continents.
The ‘jubilee tonne’ was produced on line 2 and is a galaxy fibre. About 5000 shirts or even 500,000 tampons can be produced from one tonne of viscose fibres alone at Kelheim Fibres.Kelheim Fibres produced its 4,000,000th ton of viscose fibres on April 9, 2018.
