German specialty viscose fibre producer Kelheim Fibres is presenting a mix of new and well established fibre products at the upcoming INDEX 2017, to be held in Switzerland in booth no. 2415. Fibres to be showcased include Viloft, Galaxy and Electra, all of which are used in production of various nonwoven fabrics for applications in wipes, tampons, etc.

While the patented and extra absorbent speciality fibre Galaxy, offers the highest hygiene standards. The fibre has also bagged the ‘External Business Partner Excellence Award 2016’ from P&G.
Electra, a newly developed fibre can be used in a wide range of applications for the dissipation of static charges. Currently, Kelheim is also testing the possible use of this fibre, in connection with sensitive electronic components. (AR)
