Kordsa Global, a leading manufacturer of industrial nylon and polyester yarn, tire cord fabric and single end cord has been recognised as 'great place to work' by a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute.

According to the survey conducted among nearly 40 companies in the state of Bahia in Brazil, Kordsa Global outdistanced many companies and ranked 7th in the list of best companies to work for.

Kordsa Global provides high quality service and end to end solutions with a high level of technical competency. The main objective of the company is to 'progress with innovative value added technologies' by continuously investing in its customers, its shareholders and its employees.

“This is the result of our high-standard human resources practices that we implement as an employee brand in our business enterprises on four continents. This award that we have received strengthened our no. 1 position as we were selected as the winner in 'investment in people' category in the Golden Collar Awards organised by Sabanci Holding last month,” said Cenk Alper, CEO of Kordsa Global.

“We have been operating in Brazil for long years. Most of our employees are from this region. As a brand expanding from Turkey to the world, we are proud of this success that we have achieved in a different geography. This result proved once again the strong relationship of operational and financial success with the employee engagement. I congratulate all my friends who contributed in this success,” Alper added.

In the evaluation made by the Great Place to Work Institute, the scores of companies are based on employee surveys and comparative analyses of programmes and applications established by the company in the field of human resources. (NA)
