At the Composites Europe in Düsseldorf the diamond tool pioneer, Lach Diamant from Hanau, will present newly developed and proven diamond tools for cutting and debarring of fibre composite materials, especially for GRP and CFRP. This includes PCD precision diamond drills, step drills, milling cutters all the way to diamond saw blades, as well as electroplated diamond saw blades.

The know-how acquired over decades by Lach Diamant in development and application of diamond tools in the aerospace, wind energy plants and automobile industry today inures to the benefit of all users of lightweight construction materials.

For applications with harmful heat development, e.g. thermoplastic, Lach Diamant will show “Cool Injection” - direct cooling - for the first time at the Composites Europe.

The outlet built into the diamond cutting edge for the cooling medium (up to ice crystal with CO2), stabilizes the plastic structure and in addition increases the tool life and the resistively of the diamond cutting edges.
