The end uses of TENCEL® and Lenzing Viscose® range from advanced electrical devices through liquid and gas filtration to carbon precursors for high temperature insulation.

Small fiber, big impact
TENCEL® supports the development of hybrid or electrical vehicles. Most modern automotives employ capacitors to control the electrical devices within the car - from air conditioning units to audio systems. These capacitors regenerate the energy from braking into power and so reduce fuel consumption. By optimizing ion-transportation, separator sheets based on TENCEL® improve both the storage and the delivery of energy. When TENCEL® is processed in wet state it develops a submicron fibrillar structure. Such refined fibers are the ideal choice for the production of homogeneous and pure cellulose papers. TENCEL combines sustainability with improved performance and extended operational lifetimes.
Beyond this, Lenzing fibers offer unrivalled performance in both industrial and consumer wipes: On the one hand they are naturally absorbent and pure, like the cellulose from which they are derived.
