JB Martin Ltd., a weaver of high performance materials for composite applications, announced on the 23rd of February 2011 the availability of MartinFuse™ NCS and multi-layer woven fabrics made of carbon, basalt, E-glass, S-glass, Twintex, and various hybrid combinations.

These materials have been specifically designed by a team of experts in both infusion and fabric design. They perform very well in both infusion and closed molding applications.

The MartinFuse™ materials allow production of excellent fiber-to-resin ratio composites and serve as both flow media and reinforcement materials. According to JB Martin, they have superior resin flow in all 3 axes (X, Y and Z). Fabrics are available in standard and customized widths of up to 355 cm (140 inches) and in weights up to 3250 g/m2. JB Martin's infusion fabrics are successfully being used in marine, tooling, transportation and military applications where these new infusion materials improve properties and allow ease of processing.
