NSC Nonwoven Line in Saudi Arabia

Bonar & Natpet are announcing the purchase of their first nonwoven production line to be installed early 2012, in their Joint Venture plant, at a site near to NATPET's polypropylene production facility in Yanbu, in western Saudi Arabia.

The state of the art 6 meter working width line, will be delivered by Asselin-Thibeau. It will include among its carding and needling equipment, the IsoProDyn® and A.C.S technologies.

Bonar Technical Fabrics is a world leading producer of Geotextile fabrics, woven and nonwoven, with production facilities in Belgium, Hungary, China and KSA. This will be their fourth line with Asselin-Thibeau ProDyn® system.

National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet), is a leading company in Saudi Arabia with a brand new polypropopylene production facility in Yanbu. Natpet is a subsidiary of Alujain Corporation, an Investment Company involved in major industrial projects in the petrochemicals, mining, metals & energy sectors in KSA.

Production of geotextiles for the civil engineering markets in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent, is expected to start mid 2012.
