Opening Ceremony of Fameccanica Machinery in Shanghai

A grand relocation and opening ceremony of Fameccanica Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was held on Oct 14, 2011 at its new Shanghai plant. Mr. Giuseppe Imbastaro, director of Fameccanica. Data in Italy; Mr. Vincenzo De Luca, Consul General of Consulate General of the Italian Republic in Shanghai; local government officials; representatives of a number of vendors and employees of Shanghai office participated to the ceremony. Sun Jing and Wen Xuemei from China National Household Paper Industry Association also attended the ceremony.

Mr. Mimmo Carlone, General Manager of Fameccanica Machinery Shanghai, hosted the ceremony. Director Giuseppe Imbastaro and Consul General Vincenzo De Luca gave passionate speeches; offered congratulations to Fameccanica Machinery Shanghai for the achievements made on the Chinese market and expressed great expectations on its future development. Sun Jing, Senior Engineer, offered congratulations on behalf of Mr. Cao Zhenglei, Director of China National Household Papery Industry Association and Secretary-general Jiang Manxia, reviewed Fameccanica's development in China, recognized the company's contribution to China's sanitary product market and sincerely wished Fameccanica constant growth in China.

The ceremony culminated with lion dance and provided visual enjoyment to people with splendid sand painting show. Exquisite pictures appeared one after another under the girl's dexterous hands, telling, together with relax music and voiceover, the story of Fameccanica and enabled people to understand the company's development as if they experienced the process in person.

As early as 1998, Fameccanica established the marketing and after-sales service office in China in 2005. Fameccanica Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was put into operation officially and has provided a number of sanitary napkin/panty liner, baby diaper and adult diaper equipments to Hengan International Group, Fujian GT Paper, C-BONS, Hangzhou Yanina, Everbeauty, Fujian Hengli Group and others, and has been highly recognized by users.

The Fameccanica Group has established branches in Italy, China, Brazil and North America. Nowadays, Fameccanica Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has become the manufacturing center of entry-level production machinery and works at providing high quality, stable, reliable and affordable production equipments to emerging markets, particularly the Chinese and Asian markets.

Located in Xinzhuang Industrial Park, Minghang District, Shanghai, the new Fameccanica plant covers a total land area of 16,000 m2 and is equipped with 10 standard assembly workshops with an annual assembly capacity of 25 production lines, as twice as that of the former plant.

It is expected that Fameccanica will create more brilliance, provide more equipment much suitable for Chinese market and make new contributions to the development of China's sanitary product industry.
