OrganoClick, a Swedish cleantech company that develops, produces and markets functional materials based on environmentally friendly fibre chemistry, has been certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 from the accreditated certification company Intertek.

“We are very proud to have received the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. This is a step for us to further improve our quality and environmental work and most important, continue to work with constant improvements within these important areas,” said Mårten Hellberg, CEO of OrganoClick, in a press release.

“By focusing even more on these areas we believe we will have more satisfied customers that will generate more business,” Hellberg added.

Last year, OrganoClick decided to initiate the work to develop a management system and certify it according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The purpose was to achieve a better control system for the growing company and to further focus the company's work on quality and environmental issues.

Accordingly, new updated sustainability and quality goals were developed and plans of how to achieve them and continuously improve these areas were set up, according to the press release.

“Sustainability and quality is OrganoClick's DNA with our background from academic research within green fiber chemistry. With this environmental and quality certification we want to strengthen our culture and value based work in our growing organisation,” says Hellberg.

With its head office, production and R&D located in Täby, north of Stockholm, OrganoClick markets water repellent fabric treatment OrganoTex, along with its other products. (RKS)
