The Radiant Energy Systems’ 21 ft. vertical electric and gas fired infrared tower is custom designed for drying, baking and sintering of PTFE coatings on fiberglass fabrics. A new, upgraded design for the gas burners is supplied. This new design eliminates the need for high temperature insulation. The heater’s outer surfaces— edges and back, are cool to the touch.

An overseas manufacturer sought a more efficient oven system for its 65” woven fiberglass line. There are two 12” x 71” drying zones that combine electric infrared with air. The bake zone is 24” in direction of product travel.

Two gas fired infrared burners are mounted in a staggered configuration with each heater opposite an insulated reflector panel. This design allows the product temperature to even out.

The sinter zone is 32” in direction of product travel and contains four staggered gas infrared heaters. These heaters are also mounted in a staggered configuration with each heater opposite an insulated reflector panel.
