Reifenhäuser Maschinenfabrik presented its Reifenhäuser Supplier Awards for the eleventh time to honour the best suppliers to Reifenhäuser Extrusion, Reifenhäuser Reicofil and Reiloy Metall of the year 2012. With the award, Reifenhäuser recognizes excellent performance, superior commitment, and important contributions to the success of the company.
Companies who wish to be among the best suppliers to the Reifenhäuser Group must achieve the top rating of excellent in the categories quality, logistics, cooperation and innovation. In 2012, more than 50 percent of the 262 suppliers rated succeeded in fulfilling this criterion. In addition to this, the seven companies awarded have distinguished themselves through their particular commitment, innovations and outstanding cooperation. The seven suppliers of the year 2012 are:
- Anton Klein Industrieverpackungen + Logistik GmbH: Industrial packaging and logistics services
- Seco Tools GmbH: Metal cutting tools
- A. & C. Kosik GmbH: Systems and components
- Buderus Edelstahl GmbH: Tool steel
- Extricom GmbH Blach Extruder & Components: Extruder components
- Thomas-Eisenhandel GmbH: Steel trade
- Enka Tecnica GmbH: Nonwoven and meltblown spinnerets
Jörg Stolz, head of Reifenhäuser's materials management department, emphasized in his award speech that the winners are also honoured for providing optimal support to Reifenhäuser in exceptional situations. He said: "Extreme situations, whether times of crisis or extremely high levels of utilisation, can be mastered by equipment manufacturers only if they have the right external partners." And Jörg Stolz added: "Our suppliers of the year have supported the consistent strategic alignment and innovative force of the Reifenhäuser Group through their commitment and flexibility."
