RPC Technologies and Aquaterro Advanced Product Supplies have entered into an agreement to work together on the local manufacture of high performance ballistic plates for personal body armour.

Mr. Tony Caristo (Managing Director RPC) and Mr. Graeme Bulte (Managing Director Aquaterro) met on the 26th of August 2013 to discuss the venture and to formalise RPC and Aquaterro’s intentions.

Mr. Bulte from Aquaterro stated: "Aquaterro has always been committed to providing operational and safety equipment to protect those whose jobs take them into harms' way.

"After 20 years of bringing the worlds most advanced survival equipment to Australia, we are very excited at the prospect of working with RPC and facilitating technology transfers to allow development and manufacturing of that equipment in Australia."

Aquaterro and RPC are looking at opportunities to service the personal protection market for Defence and Law Enforcement within Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Caristo from RPC stated: “RPC’s flagship composites facility in Australia, will be used as the manufacturing facility for the hard plates required. I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Aquaterro on this venture”.
