The Sandler home brought applications for the construction industry into limelight and made it the main topic of conversation at the booth.
Its Comfort family of products was used for walls and ceilings of the model home, which also helped maintain voice acoustics in the model home despite great bustle at the booth.
In the showroom, they showed their functionality in drywall for individual interior design and pipe insulation that was flexible and also adapts and bends.
For applications in office acoustics and interior design, Sandler used nonwovens with outstanding sound absorption and easier processing.
It also showcased recycled nonwoven fabrics made from 100 per cent polyester which it said compares with flax or wood in terms of sustainability of building materials.
Sandler also displayed collections with a wide range of applications for the automotive, filtration, construction, technical insulation, hygiene and cleaning cloths.
For the auto industry, it had the lightweight, recyclable absorber Sandler nonwovens for moldings and upholstery materials for comfortable seats.
Synthetic filter nonwovens for air filtration, non-woven fabrics for aviation and fabrics for liquid filtration were the other products on show.
Sandler added that visitors from the hygiene industry were convinced about the softness and functionality of Sandler hygiene nonwovens as well as versatile design options.
Sandler employees from sales, product development, purchasing and marketing exchanged views with guests from Germany, Europe, US and Asia were at hand to share information.
“On the second day students of Technology Dresden University visited the Sandler booth and marveled at the broad range of applications of nonwovens,” it added. (AR)
